Hey Fire Dude.. you site. Fantastic information. Wish I had found this before I went to Alaska for 2 months this spring. I had to look everywhere to find this info last winter. Being a vegetarian, I took powdered soup mixes and cubes and dehydrated mash potatoes and gravy and I didn't see that food on your list. I purchased it at an Oriental Food Market and Health Food Store. I also made my own dried vegetables - carrots, green beans, tofu and fruits - tomatoes, mangos, bananas, oranges and took dried spices. Everything mixed with just water. I bought a vacuum food saver last winter and packaged it all so it was lightweight and waterproof. I even took dried navy beans and let them soak all night then cooked them the next day. And besides my instant coffee and creamer, I took my herbal tea bags and all in one coffee bag with creamer; also from Oriental Food Market. So people, take heed, you need to know how to build a fire and keep it going.

THIS SITE WILL SAVE LIVES, I AM SURE OF IT. Thanks Fire Dude. ~~~GiGi
